Lillian Barber, DVM
Dr. Lillian Barber is thrilled to be back in Louisiana and working her dream job as a veterinarian! She was raised in St. Francisville, Louisiana where she developed a deep love for all creatures, great and small.
As Dr. Lillian grew, she also became interested in science and the art of healing. She earned a bachelor degree in biology from Nicholls State University in 2012 and a doctorate of veterinary medicine from LSU in 2016. She has special interests in soft tissue surgery, endocrinology, client education, and geriatric care.
She spent three and a half great years at Alvin Animal Clinic in Alvin, Texas as a general small animal veterinarian and furthered her knowledge base under her excellent mentors there. However, the desire to be closer to her growing family in Southeast Louisiana has led her to Ponchatoula Animal Hospital, where the friendly team and caring clients are quickly making her feel right at home.
Dr. Lillian is at her happiest when spending time with God, family and friends, especially if the great outdoors are involved. She is the lucky dog momma of 3 big mutts: Bruce, Lily Bell, and Sylvia. She looks forward to meeting you and helping your pet have the best quality of life possible.
